CPUC CONTINUES SPEAKER SERIES WITH
PANEL DISCUSSION ON FEED-IN TARIFFS
SAN FRANCISCO, August 20, 2009 - The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) today announced an international panel discussion as part of its 21st Century Thought Leaders in Essential Industries speaker series on the topic of Feed-in Tariffs: how they will impact Californians and what we can learn from Germany, Spain, and other countries.
Feed-in tariffs can be described as payments for the purchase of renewable electricity that "feeds into" the grid in order to encourage renewable energy development.
