This decision orders Pacific Gas and Electric Company to show cause why it should not be found in contempt and why penalties should not be imposed for failure to comply with Commission's order, namely Resolution L-410 and Rulemaking 11-02-019.
This notice is issued pursuant to Government Code Section 11125.3(a)(2), which empowers the CPUC to add late items to its public agenda: where "there exists a need to take immediate action and the need for immediate action came to the attention of the state body subsequent to the agenda being posted..."
The need for this item to be acted on by the CPUC did not become apparent until after the agenda for the March 24, 2011, voting meeting was mailed.
