Also present were Stephen St. Marie, advisor to Cmmr. Bohn, and Mike Florio, Attorney for TURN. TURN representatives discussed the proposed decision of ALJ O'Donnell and the alternate of Cmmr. Peevey. Freedman and Florio stated TURN¿s opposition to the alternate on the basis that it was poorly drafted, failed to incorporate any cost caps, was inconsistent with the Commission treatment for Diablo Canyon, and would place ratepayers at risk of unlimited cost overruns during the remaining life of the plant. Freedman urged to vote against the alternate.
