Description:
On May 19, 2005, Keith Switzer, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Southern California Water Company (SCWC), met with Rami Kahlon, advisor to Cmmr. Peevey, in San Francisco. Switzer expressed SCWC's views concerning certain rulings in the proposed decision (PD) of ALJ Fukutome. Switzer stated that the PD reduces the Office of Ratepayer Advocates (ORA)/SCWC agreed-upon rate increases for two of the seven customer service areas in SCWC`s Region I. Switzer stated that in so doing, the PD makes mistakes in its calculations, errs in its reasoning, and skews rate reductions in a manner that is unfair and biased against SCWC.
