CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
Description: On October 25, 2007 Bradly Torgan, General Counsel for the California Department of Parks and Recreation (State Parks) had a telephone conversation with Traci Bone, advisor to Cmmr. Grueneich in San Francisco. Torgan conveyed State Parks' concerns with the feasibility of an alternative route for Segment 8A of Southern California Edison Company's Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project (project) proposed by the City of Chino Hills. Torgan explained that the alternative would establish State Parks as an additional trustee agency and result in two additional responsible agencies for the project, State Parks and the California State Park and Recreation Commission (Commission). State Parks would be a responsible agency because the alternative would require additional easements. The Commission would be a responsible agency because the alternative would require amendments to the Chino Hills State Park General Plan.
