Description:
On January 24, 2005, Mona Tierney, Director, Government Affairs, Constellation NewEnergy, representing the Alliance for Retail Energy Markets (AREM), met with Julie Fitch, advisor to Pres. Peevey, in San Francisco. Also present were David Gamson, advisor to Cmmr. Brown, and Sue Mara, TRO Advisors, LLC, on behalf of Strategic Energy and APS Energy Services. Tierney and Mara indicated that AREM had submitted a protest of Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) Advice Letter 2555-G-A-2125-E-A. Tierney and Mara noted that Draft Resolution E-3895, which concerns Southern California Edison Company (SCE) AL 1808-E, orders SCE to create a new account to credit the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission-ordered refund of transmission rate revenues to customer classes in the manner that the transmission rate overcharges were initially collected. Tierney and Mara urged the Commission to adopt the same approach with respect to the refunds at issue in PG&E's advice letter filing.
