SUMMARY: On August 16, 2007 Lad Lorenz, Vice President for San Diego Gas and
Electric Company (SDG&E) met with Andy Campbell, advisor to Cmmr. Chong in San
Francisco. Also, present was Billy Blattner, CPUC Relations Manager for SDG&E.
Lorenz explained SDG&E's concern that the ACR could inadvertently delay
adoption of dynamic rates, which are being considered in Phase II of SDG&E's
rate case. He added that it is important for SDG&E to implement dynamic rates
in conjunction with the roll-out of its Advanced Metering Infrastructure in
