SUMMARY: On October 25, 2007 Mark Pocta of the Division of Ratepayer Advocates (DRA) met with Lindsay Brown and Robert Kinosian, advisors to Cmmr. Bohn in San Francisco. Also present was Richard Myers of the Energy Division of the CPUC. Pocta discussed DRA's Petition to Modify D.07-06-013 requesting the Commission to delay issuing an Order Instituting Rulemaking ("OIR") for the Gas Incentive Mechanisms for the major gas utilities until June 2008, in order to avoid scheduling conflicts. Pocta requested that the Commission modify D.07-06-013 and extend the issuance of the OIR to June, 2008 because of a conflict of schedule with Southern California Gas Company's (SoCalGas) and San Diego Gas and Electric Company's ("SDG&E") Biennial Cost Allocation Proceedings ("BCAP"). Pocta explained that the two BCAPs are scheduled to be filed on December 14, 2007 and would require the dedication of DRA's entire gas section for 6 months.
