SUMMARY: On November 15, 2007, Lee Schavrien, Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) met with Nancy Ryan, advisor to Pres. Peevey in San Francisco. Also present was Andy Schwartz, advisor to Pres. Peevey. Schavrien discussed the history and timing of SDG&E's and SoCalGas's motion for adoption of a Memorandum Account in the above captioned proceeding. Schavrien pointed out the motion was filed on April 16, 2007, the motion was unopposed, and that SDG&E and SoCalGas had fully expected that the motion would have been granted sometime ago. Schavrien then described the potential significant revenue impacts, on the order of fifteen to twenty million per month associated with a delay in authorizing the Memorandum Account.
