Electric Company (PG&E), had a telephone conversation with Kelly Hymes, advisor
to Cmmr. Grueneich. Dietz stated that PG&E is pleased that it has increased its
LIEE activities. Dietz clarified that PG&E's 'other administration' and
'regulatory compliance' spending is in line with other utilities, and has been
decreasing as a percentage of its activities. Dietz further clarified that the
'other administrative' and 'regulatory compliance' amounts within the budget
augmentation application were less than one percent.
