Telephone Service Rate Changes September/October 2007
AT&T
a. Effective October 15, 2007, AT&T's reactivation fee will increase from $19.00 to $30.00, a 56% increase.
Verizon
a. Customers who subscribe to Verizon Regional, Verizon Regional Extra, Verizon Regional Unlimited and who also subscribe to ONEBILL, or DSL, or DirectTV used to receive $5 monthly bundle discount. Effective in October billing, this $5 discount is eliminated. (Verizon had increased its Regional package monthly rates by $5 in Feb. 2007.)
b. Effective October 9, 2007, Verizon withdrew its foreign directory tariffs. Customers can no longer purchase directory books outside of their residence areas.
c. Effective December 7, 2007, Verizon's monthly rates for Frame Relay and ATM Services will increase by 10%. The following shows a few examples:
