Members of the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC), the California Energy Commission (CEC), and the California Power Authority (CPA) will hold a public meeting to discuss the implementation of the agencies' Energy Action Plan.
WHEN: Thursday, July 17, 2003, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
WHERE: State Office Building Auditorium, 505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco
A call-in number, listen-only, is available for those unable to attend in-person: 1-877-345-0241, passcode: 92105.
Particular focus will be given to the issues of ensuring reliable, affordable electricity

In addition, there will be a public comment period.
The Energy Action Plan establishes shared goals and specific actions to ensure that adequate, reliable, and reasonably-priced electrical power and natural gas supplies are achieved and provided through policies, strategies, and actions that are cost-effective and environmentally sound for California's consumers and taxpayers.
