RELATED TO STATE'S ENERGY ACTION PLAN

SAN FRANCISCO, December 4, 2006 - Members of the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) and California Energy Commission, as well as other state representatives and the California Independent System Operator, will meet to discuss the electricity supply-demand outlook for summer 2007, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, and other energy issues related to the state's Energy Action Plan.

No decisions will be made at this public meeting. A quorum of Commissioners from the PUC may be present. Any person who wishes to address the members may do so by signing up at the start of the meeting. Public comments will be limited given the time constraints of the members; individual speakers should expect to have no more than 3 minutes.
