BEFORE THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA

In the Matter of the Application of MAYACAMA GOLF CLUB, LLC, for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity in Order to Provide Public Utility Sewer Services Solely to the Mayacama Golf Club Located Within the County of Sonoma.

Application 01-11-034

(Filed November 8, 2001)

ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGE'S RULING
GRANTING WATER DIVISION'S INTENT TO PARTICIPATE

On July 1, 2002, the Water Division of the California Public Utilities Commission gave notice of its intent to participate on behalf of the Commission. The Water Division states that it has reviewed the utilities request and concludes that it would be useful to the Commission to have an additional perspective presented during the proceeding, specifically to assist the Commission in determining and developing just and reasonable rates.

We agree with the Water Division and grant the Water Division's request to participate. A prehearing conference will be scheduled as soon as possible.

Therefore, IT IS RULED that the Water Division may participate in Application 01-11-034, the application of Mayacama Golf Club, LLC for a certificate of public convenience and necessity.

Dated August 21, 2002, at San Francisco, California.
