workshop will discuss the first phase of a smart inverter implementation plan
that recommends smart inverter capabilities that could be required to ensure
the long-term safety, reliability, and efficiency of the power grid with high
penetration distributed generation.
Workshop discussions will cover smart inverter functionality recommendations
and a proposed testing and implementation plan for validating the recommended

Orange County, California, once the investigation is complete.
On June 4, 2013, the draft resolution was mailed to the service list, pursuant
to California Public Utilities Code § 311(g) and Rule 14.5 of the Commission’s
Rules of Practice and Procedure. Comments shall be served no later than July
1, 2013, and reply comments shall be served no later than July 8, 2013.
