California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is currently headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Sacramento and Los Angeles. Senate Bill (SB) 840 directs the CPUC to report on options to locate operations and staff outside of the CPUC’s headquarters. Pursuant to the bill the CPUC will hold workshops to gather information from a broad group of participants including but not limited to the employee Unions representing CPUC staff. As stated in the bill, the objective of the workshops is to hear suggestions, concerns, ideas, and comments from stakeholders and interested members of the public on options for leveraging additional facilities in areas of the State, such as Sacramento, which would allow the CPUC to collaborate with other departments and also allow staff more opportunities for growth in promotion in the other state departments. In order to frame the discussions and have a productive meeting, we consider three scenarios as options to relocate CPUC operations and staff outside San Francisco headquarters. In the report that will be presented to the Legislators, these scenarios will be compared in terms of real-estate costs and other unquantifiable factors that concern employees and quality of the CPUC operations. more webinars on scenario development and portfolio evaluation for the CPUC’s
2017 Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) process. In this webinar, Energy
Division staff will present a summary of its proposed approach to scenario development
and portfolio evaluation for 2017. Energy Division staff will also answer
clarifying questions from parties. Parties may provide informal comments in
response to specific questions posed within the slides that will be presented
in this webinar. Instructions and deadlines for distributing comments, along
with the slides to be presented in this webinar, will be circulated to the
service list of the LTPP-IRP Rulemaking (R.16-02-007) and will be posted on the
LTPP-IRP website prior to this
webinar.
Please note that the webinars on scenario development are intended to be
complementary to the webinar meetings of the IRP Modeling Advisory Group
(MAG). In general, the MAG webinars will tend to be more technical in nature
and will focus on the specific modeling and analytical tools anticipated to be
used in IRP in 2017. The webinars on scenario development will be more
conceptual and will focus on planning concepts and issues.

Energy Division staff convened the Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) Modeling Advisory Group (MAG) to
ensure the modeling work undertaken by Energy Division and by individual LSEs as part of the 2017 IRP

via webinar every other Thursday starting October 20, 2016. Participation is
open to the public on the condition that the ground rules detailed in the advisory

(“the Decision”) resolves issues related to customer authorization for the
utility to share data with third party Demand Response providers. This
includes completing the Customer Information Service Request Demand Response
Provider Form (CISR-DRP Form) in paper form or through a “Click-Through”
process.
The Decision requires the utilities to hold working group meetings with
stakeholders and Energy Division to “develop a consensus proposal to streamline
and simplify the direct participation enrollment process, including adding more
automation, mitigating enrollment fatigue, and resolving any remaining

This is the second of two or
more webinars on scenario development and portfolio evaluation for the CPUC’s
2017 Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) process. In this webinar, Energy
Division staff will present additional details regarding its proposed approach
to scenario development and portfolio evaluation. Energy Division staff will
also answer clarifying questions from parties. Parties may provide informal
comments in response to specific questions posed within the slides that will be
presented in this webinar. Instructions and deadlines for distributing
comments, along with the slides to be presented in this webinar, will be
circulated to the service list of the LTPP-IRP Rulemaking (R.16-02-007) and
will be posted on the LTPP-IRP website
prior to this webinar.
Please note that the webinars on scenario development are intended to be
complementary to the webinar meetings of the IRP Modeling Advisory Group
(MAG). In general, the MAG webinars will tend to be more technical in nature
and will focus on the specific modeling and analytical tools anticipated to be
used in IRP in 2017. The webinars on scenario development will be more
conceptual and will focus on planning concepts and issues.

Energy Division staff convened the Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) Modeling Advisory Group (MAG) to
ensure the modeling work undertaken by Energy Division and by individual LSEs as part of the 2017 IRP
process
is performed in a manner that is as transparent and objective as possible.
Meetings take place via webinar every other Thursday starting October 20,
2016. Participation is open to the public on the condition that the ground
rules detailed in the advisory
group charter are observed.
Each meeting includes a report out on activities completed, a discussion of
planned activities, and opportunity for feedback from parties and discussion
with Energy Division staff. An agenda and presentation slides will be e-mailed
to the service list of the LTPP-IRP rulemaking (R.16-02-007) prior to each
webinar.

The ALJ
Division has prepared Resolution ALJ-326 for the October 27, 2016
Commission Meeting. The resolution affirms Citation No. SED FC-718 issued to
Joseph Elias dba Showtime Transportation on May 5, 2015, by the California
Public Utilities Commission’s (Commission) Safety and Enforcement Division
(SED). SED initially issued Citation No SED FC-718 in the amount of
$4,000 for 8 violations (22 counts) of the Commission’s General Order (GO)
115-F and GO 157-D, and Public Utilities Code Section 5351, et seq.,
for the period January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014. SED corrected Citation
No SED FC-718 to remove 1 violation (1 count) at the hearing resulting in

HEREBY GIVEN that Commissioner Liane M. Randolph, will hold an
All-Party meeting regarding Application (A.) 15-03-003. The meeting will take
place on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The meeting will
be held at the Southern California Edison Company, Mesa Substation, located at
the address noted above in Monterey Park, California.
