13. Categorization and Need for Hearing

SJWC requested that this matter be categorized as ratesetting. By Resolution ALJ 176-3228, dated January 29, 2009, the Commission preliminarily determined that this was a ratesetting proceeding and that hearings would be necessary. There was no objection to the ratesetting categorization.

A PHC was held on March 19, 2009 to establish issues and a hearing schedule. Following this PHC, on March 30, 2009, Commissioner Bohn issued a Scoping Memo and Ruling confirming that this was a ratesetting proceeding and set a schedule that included an evidentiary hearing.
