7. Comments on Proposed Decision

Public Utilities Code Section 311, subdivision (g)(1), provides that a decision must be served on all parties and be subject to at least 30 days review and comment prior to a vote of the Commission. Subdivision (g)(2) provides that this 30-day comment period may be waived for an uncontested matter in which the decision grants the relief requested. This is such a matter. Birch has requested a waiver of the 30-day waiting period required by subdivision (g)(1) on the grounds that the matter is uncontested. The public review and comment period is waived to expedite this matter in accordance with Birch's request.
