IX. Request for Confidentiality

Applicants requested confidential treatment of portions of the Master Agreement filed as required by Commission Rule 36 and contained in Appendix A of the application. Applicants also request confidential treatment for portions of the amendment filed in January 2002. ¹² Applicants contend that the unredacted version of Appendix A contains commercially sensitive information regarding the financial terms and conditions of the lease that if revealed to competing carriers, could disadvantage AT&T Wireless with respect to competitive communication providers and disadvantage PG&E in negotiations with other carriers over similar agreements. We have granted similar requests for confidential treatment in the past and will do so here.
