Payment/Ratemaking

As payment for the easement, PG&E will receive a one-time payment of $1,000 from the City. The original and current net book value of the property is $2,460. The property is used for the purpose of electric transmission and is included in PG&E's rate base, subject to ratemaking jurisdiction by the Federal Regulatory Energy Commission. Granting the easement will not result in changes to the rate base as no property is being sold. The easement payment will be credited to PG&E's Electric Other Operating Revenue account.
