5. Conclusion

For all of the foregoing reasons, the application is granted, as to the use of Verizon's surplus office space and equipment by the service company affiliates identified in Exhibit A to the application, and future service company affiliates defined as "affiliates that exist solely to provide services to members of the carrier's corporate family," subject to the conditions stated above.

Based on our review of this application, we conclude that there is no need to alter the preliminary determinations as to categorization and need for a hearing made in Resolution ALJ 176-3172 (May 11, 2006).
