III. Overview of the Application

Applicant, a Delaware limited liability company, filed Application (A.) 99-05-031 on May 13, 1999 and amended it on October 12, 1999. Applicant is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of TNV [Netherlands] BV (TNV), a Dutch holding company. TNV is owned by British Telecommunications plc and AT&T, which each have a 50% controlling interest. There were no protests to the application. Applicant seeks authority to provide nonfacilities-based resold interexchange service as a nondominant interexchange carrier (NDIEC), and local exchange services as a competitive local carrier (CLC) throughout Pacific's and GTEC's service territories.
