PUC, CEC, CPA Hold Joint Meeting On Energy Action Plan
WHAT: The California Energy Commission, Power Authority and Public Utilities Commission will hold a joint meeting to discuss implementation of the Energy Action Plan. The meeting will focus on optimizing energy conservation and efficiency and accelerating the State's goal for renewable generation.
WHEN: Friday, Nov. 7, 2003
10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Resources Building Auditorium, 1416 9 St., Sacramento
(There will not be simultaneous audio cast of this meeting.)
GROUND: The three state energy agencies have adopted the Energy Action Plan, which identifies specific goals and actions to ensure reasonably priced and efficient delivery of energy. This will be the second joint meeting to discuss the implementation of the Energy Action Plan.

2. Review Updates to the Action Plan Implementation Matrix (10 minutes)
3. Discuss Action Step I - Optimize Energy Conservation and Resource Efficiency (20 minutes)
4. Discuss Action Step II - Accelerate the State's Goal for Renewable Generation (20 minutes)
5. Public Comments (60 minutes)
7. Member Discussion (20 minutes)
8. Closing Remarks and Next Steps (10 minutes)
Any person who wishes to address the members may do so by signing up at the start of the meeting with the Public Advisors. Public comment will be limited given time constraints at the discretion of the members; individual speakers should expect to have approximately 3 minutes.
