IV. Presiding Officer

President Michael Peevey is the assigned Commissioner responsible for preparing the proposed decision in this quasi-legislative proceeding at the conclusion of hearings. President Peevey plans to attend some of these evidentiary hearings; however, it is anticipated that testimony will focus on technical cost-benefit issues rather than questions of law, policy and discretion, and that assigned ALJ Kim Malcolm will preside over the evidentiary hearings and thereafter assist the assigned commissioner in the preparation of the proposed decision.
