O P I N I O N

Summary

We determine that respondents Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) and Union Pacific Railroad Company (UPRR) should be ordered to comply with California Labor Code section 6906.¹ Respondents shall be in full compliance with Section 6906 by not later than one year from the effective date of our order, unless it is stayed pending review by an appellate court of competent jurisdiction. Investigation (I.) 99-06-005 is closed.
