Findings of Fact

1. The next BCAP to be filed by SoCalGas is expected to be very contentious.

2. It is reasonable to expect that it will require approximately 18 months to thoroughly process SoCalGas' next BCAP.

Conclusion of Law

SoCalGas should file its next BCAP application prior to July 1, 2001.

ORDER

IT IS ORDERED that:

1. Southern California Gas Company shall file its next Biennial Cost Allocation Proceeding application prior to July 1, 2001.

2. This proceeding is closed.

This order is effective today.
