Res. L-430 authorizes disclosure of records concerning the California Public Utilities Commission (Commission) Consumer Protection and Safety Division's investigation or audits relating to Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) leak surveys and/or the effectiveness of PG&E's external corrosion direct assessment program.
On January 17, 2012, the draft resolution was mailed to the attached service list, pursuant to California Public Utilities Code § 311(g) and Rule 14.5 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. Comments shall be served no later than February 6, 2012, and reply comments shall be served no later than February 10, 2012.
Res L-430 will be on the agenda at the February 16, 2012 Commission meeting. The Commission may then vote on this draft resolution, or it may postpone a vote.
When the Commission acts on the draft resolution, it may adopt all or part of it as written, amend or modify it, or set it aside and prepare its own order. Only when the Commission acts does the resolution become binding on the parties.

The Communications Division has prepared Resolution T-17358 for the March 8, 2012 Commission meeting regarding Limited English Proficiency survey ordered by Decision (D.) 08-10-016. This resolution approves staff recommendations regarding the scope, parameters, specifications and timing of a customer satisfaction survey of the LEP customers in California. This resolution delegates to the Commission's Executive Director the authority to proceed with the implementation of the LEP survey, and to seek reimbursement for its cost from carriers with $10 million acor more in annual intrastate revenue.
