Background
On April 14, 2000, after consultation with the Assigned Commissioner's office, I issued a ruling establishing the scope for Phase 2 testimony. On May 16, 2000, I modified the due dates for testimony on Phase 2 issues. Phase 2 Direct Testimony will now be served on June 30. Phase 2 Reply Testimony will be served on July 24. Hearings previously scheduled for the week of July 24 were cancelled. Hearings have been rescheduled for September 5 - 15, 2000.
On May 5, 2000, SCE filed the Motion seeking to modify the scope of the Phase 2 testimony and to clarify aspects of the scoping memo. At the May 10 prehearing conference, I indicated that parties should respond in writing to SCE's Motion by May 19, 2000. Responses were filed by the Office of Ratepayer Advocates, California Solar Energy Industries Association, Enron Energy Services, Inc. and Enron North America Corp., Duke Energy North America (Duke),1 San Diego Gas & Electric Company and Southern California Gas Company, and Honeywell Power Systems Inc.
