Ex Parte Communications

The OII categorizes this proceeding as adjudicatory. Therefore, unless a party successfully appeals this categorization pursuant to Rule 6.4, ex parte communications are prohibited in this proceeding.

Therefore, IT IS RULED that:

1. A Prehearing Conference (PHC) shall be conducted on March 23, 2000 from 2:00 to 4:00 in the Commission Courtroom, 505 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, California.

2. Each party shall file and serve a PHC statement on or before March 17, 2000, concisely addressing the subjects set forth in this ruling.

3. The PHC statements shall be transmitted to the assigned Administrative Law Judge by facsimile at (415) 703-1723 or by E-mail addressed to tom@cpuc.ca.gov on or before March 17, 2000.

4. Parties desiring expedited or daily transcripts shall advise the Chief Hearing Reporter by telephone at (415) 703-4881, no later than three (3) days before the PHC.
