Background

On April 24, 2000, Applicant filed an application for a general rate increase for water service in its Los Angeles Division to increase revenues by $1,938,500 (12.22%) in 2001; $782,100 (4.92%) in 2002; and $642,800 (3.46%) in 2003.

The Los Angeles Division consists of the Baldwin Hills, Duarte, and San Marino Districts. The division serves approximately 27,400 customers in the cities of Baldwin Hills, Duarte, and San Marino, and areas consisting of Windsor Hills, View Park, Ladera Heights, Bradbury, Irwindale, Monrovia, Rosemead, San Gabriel, Temple City, and vicinity in Los Angeles County.
