II. Jurisdiction

PG&E is a public utility electric and gas corporation subject to the jurisdiction of this Commission, as defined in Pub. Util. Code §§ 218 and 222, respectively. This application was filed pursuant to Rules 23 and 24 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (Rules), Ordering Paragraph 2 of Decision (D.) 00-02-049, dated September 2, 1999, and in accordance with Appendix C of the Commission's rate case plan set forth in D.89-01-040.¹
