LAW JUDGE'S RULING ON DISCOVERY ISSUES AND
REVISED SCOPING MEMO AS TO SCHEDULE
This ruling addresses Southern California Edison Company's (Edison) November 19, 2001 motion to compel discovery and revises the schedule set forth in the in October 24, 2001 scoping memo.
I. Summary of Ruling on Motion to Compel
This ruling grants Edison November 19, 2001, motion to compel discovery insofar as it relates to Edison safety and maintenance incidents which the Commission's Consumer Services Division (CSD) investigated between 1998-2000, and which are not specified as alleged violations in the Order Instituting Investigation (OII).1 In all other respects, we deny the motion. This ruling also sets out a revised schedule for this proceeding.
1 This ruling does not rule on the admissibility of Edison's requested information, which is an issue for the presiding officer in the first instance.
